FUNCTION OF DEPARTMENT
The department of Lincoln County Treasurer has the primary function of collecting real estate, personal property,
intangible and motor vehicle taxes, special assessment, and other miscellaneous taxes for the County, cities, townships,
school districts, and other taxing units. In addition, the Treasurer performs the function
of a bank for all revenue-generating County departments.
MISSION STATMENT
To provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers in the collection of property taxes, registering
vehicles, titling vehicles, and processing drivers licenses. To keep accurate accounting records of all the financial
transactions of the County. To initiate programs that benefit Lincoln County taxpayers.
