Benefit Information

 

Lincoln County strives to provided a competitive benefit package to it's employees. The following is a list of benefits for full-time and part-time employees.

 

Full-Time Employees

Annual Cost of Living Increase
Annual Boot Allowance - Law Enforcement, Ambulance Service Employees and Emergency Management
Uniforms & Equipment Provided - Law Enforcement, Ambulance Service Employees and Emergency Management
Health/Dental/Prescription Insurance – 3 plans available through State of Kansas Insurance Program

Cost to employee:

  • Single Plan $20.00
  • Employee/Children  $40.00
  • Employee/Spouse $40.00
  • Family Plan $70.00

Short Term Disability Insurance- Paid by Lincoln County

KPERS retirement program

  • 4% of your salary – for employees hired prior to July 1, 2009 (Tier 1)
  • 6% of your salary – for employees hired after July 1, 2009  (Tier II)

18 Days of leave time per year (12 hours per month) * can not be used for 6 months
6 Days of extended illness per year (4 hours per month) * can not be used for 6 months
10 Paid Holidays Observed

Part-Time Employees
