Ambulance Service
EMT – Full Time Position
The Lincoln County Ambulance Service is accepting applications for a full time EMT. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver license, current EMT or higher certification; one year of experience is preferred. Full Time employees generally work 3 shifts per week for three weeks, and 4 shifts ever fourth week. Shifts are from 6am - 6pm. Call-Time during evening shifts is not required, but is available.
Highway Department
Mechanic – Full Time
The Lincoln County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time mechanic. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a class “A” CDL Drivers License within 6 months of employment. This position performs routine maintenance and repair on heavy equipment and trucks. This employee occasionally assists with welding and tire repair. Experience with both diesel and gas mechanics, air systems, air conditioning and drive train is preferred. This employee will work out of the Lincoln Shop with hours from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mon – Fri, Summer hours 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Mon – Thur (May – Sept approx.).
Lincoln County offers competitive wages and an excellent benefit package, starting wage is dependant upon experience. Lincoln County is willing to training the right individual. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
