Human Resource Officer
Full-Time Human Resource Officer
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Human Resource Officer. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for employee recruitment and hiring, training and development, employee relations, payroll processing & benefit management for Lincoln County. Qualified candidate must have prior experience and knowledge regarding employment law and competencies listed above in addition to above average oral and written communications skills. They must be a team player and possess flexibility with a passion to seek better ways of doing business. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Deputy Sheriff - Full-Time Position
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full Time Deputy Sheriff. Primary responsibilities include patrolling local cities as well as the rural county, assisting with crime prevention, enforcing traffic laws and regulations, responding to emergency calls, investigating crimes and complaints, providing courtroom security, working in the jail, process services and issuing citation.
Qualifications: Applicants must be 21 years of age at time of appointment, possess a high school diploma or GED, be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid Kansas Driver’s License and be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen. KLETC certification is preferred. Must reside in Lincoln County within 60 days of employment. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
Lincoln County is accepting application for Full-time Jailer. This position is responsible for the daily management of inmate activities and the jail area. Duties may include escorting inmates to and from court or medical visits, serving meals, maintaining inmate records, running jail and department errands and may occasionally assist with dispatch duties. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
