The Emergency Preparedness Director is responsible for providing direction and implementation of all aspects of emergency preparedness, including coordination of all public entities responding in times of disaster or emergency, training of personnel and conducting programs for the protection of lives and property from natural and man-made disasters and national security related events.

Lincoln County Emergency Management has enrolled in Nixle. It’s a Free, Simple and Secure way to stay informed in the event of Severe Weather or other emergency events in Lincoln County. In the event of Severe Weather or other emergency events, Lincoln County Emergency Management will post alerts on Nixle and you will be alerted via cell phone text message, e-mail or over the web.  This is a great way to stay informed. Accessibility of the SARA Title III Hazardous Substance Information

 

                Section 324 of the Emergency Planning and Community right to know act, also known as SARA Title III (superfund amendments and reauthorization act of 1986, PL99-499) requires that public notice annually informing the public of the means to access information, about extremely hazardous substances that are, manufactured, stored and used within their community. Follow-up emergency notices may subsequently be issued.

                Accordingly, information concerning LEPC meetings, SARA Title III hazardous materials planning which is included in our Lincoln County Emergency Operations Response Plans, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Hazardous Chemical inventory forms, listing extremely hazardous substances manufactured, stored, or used within Lincoln County can be obtained during normal business hours by contacting:
