KBH is a Kansas Medicaid Program.

Everyone with a State of Kansas Medicaid Card who is 20 years of age and younger is enrolled in the KBH program.

The KBH screenings follow the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule.

~Lead can harm pregnant women and their unborn child.

~It can cause brain damage and result in speech, learning and behavioral problems.

~Small children are at high risk for lead poisoning since they often put items into their mouth.

~Lead poisoned children do not look sick. Testing is the only way to know.
