Human Resource Officer
Full-Time Human Resource Officer
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Human Resource Officer. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for employee recruitment and hiring, training and development, employee relations, payroll processing & benefit management for Lincoln County. Qualified candidate must have prior experience and knowledge regarding employment law and competencies listed above in addition to above average oral and written communications skills. Part-Time with potential Full-Time Ambulance Director
We are looking for a motivated, committed individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive EMS operational knowledge, along with supervisory/management experience. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License and, at minimum, current EMT Kansas certification. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
Deputy Sheriff - Full-Time Position
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full Time Deputy Sheriff. Primary responsibilities include patrolling local cities as well as the rural county, assisting with crime prevention, enforcing traffic laws and regulations, responding to emergency calls, investigating crimes and complaints, providing courtroom security, working in the jail, process services and issuing citation.
Qualifications: Applicants must be 21 years of age at time of appointment, possess a high school diploma or GED, be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid Kansas Driver’s License and be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen. KLETC certification is preferred. Must reside in Lincoln County within 60 days of employment. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
Lincoln County is accepting application for Full-time Jailer. This position is responsible for the daily management of inmate activities and the jail area. Duties may include escorting inmates to and from court or medical visits, serving meals, maintaining inmate records, running jail and department errands and may occasionally assist with dispatch duties. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
Communications Officer-Full-Time Position
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Communications Officer. This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls,answering 911 calls, and monitoring and transmitting information via two-way radio. Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor conviction, and have the ability to multitask and have good communications skills, previous experience a plus but not required.
Equipment Operator: Dozer Operator-Full-Time
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Dozer operator. Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a valid Class “A” CDL Driver’s License with manual transmission or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of employment. Experience with heavy equipment is preferred. This employee will be assigned primarily to operate a dozer in the County leased gravel pits, however other job duties will be assigned as needed. A physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
Transportation Bus Driver-Part-Time Per-Need
This is a per need position. A valid Kansas Driver’s License and basic computer knowledge is required. The Lincoln County Transportation Bus is a full-service bus with daily trips in the Lincoln County area and weekly trips to Salina and other areas.Bus hours are Mon-Fri 8-5.
