County Attorney's Office

Full-Time Legal Office Manager

The Legal Office Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Lincoln County Attorney.  Legal experience is preferred but is not required. Solid communication skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred. The legal office manager is expected to perform tasks efficiently, confidentially, and in an organized manner. Applicant must be able execute multiple tasks concurrently. Strong ability to work independently as well as in a team setting is preferred. Lincoln County offers a competitive benefit package. Applications will be accepted until July 26.

Highway Department

Full-Time Director of Highway Department

Lincoln County, Kansas is accepting applications for a Full-Time Director of Highway Department. The Director of Highway Department will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, construction, maintenance and repair of county roads and bridges. This position will require report preparation, excellent managerial and communication skills, as well as equipment operation knowledge. Qualified candidates should have five years of experience and knowledge in budget formulation, administration, and projection planning. Applicants must possess a valid Class “A” CDL Driver’s License with manual transmission or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of employment. Five years of experience required,with post-secondary education and an engineering background preferred. This position will pay $55,000 – $65,000 per year depending on experience and education, with a minimum of 50 hours per week required. Lincoln County offers a competitive benefits package.

Clerk's Office


The Lincoln County Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for a Part-Time Per-Need Clerk/Secretary. Qualifying applicants must have a general knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices and must have good customer service skills.

Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full-Time Human Resource Officer. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for employee recruitment and hiring, training and development, employee relations, payroll processing & benefit management for Lincoln County. Qualified candidate must have prior experience and knowledge regarding employment law and competencies listed above in addition to above average oral and written communications skills.  They must be a team player and possess flexibility with a passion to seek better ways of doing business. Sheriff's Department


Lincoln County is accepting application for Full-time Jailer. This position is responsible for the daily management of inmate activities and the jail area. Duties may include escorting inmates to and from court or medical visits, serving meals, maintaining inmate records, running jail and department errands and may occasionally assist with dispatch dutiesA physical capacity profile must be completed by successful candidate.
