Human Resource Officer - Full Time Position
The Lincoln County is seeking a Full-Time Human Resource Officer. This position is responsible for employee recruitment and hiring, training and development, employee relations, payroll processing, benefit management and maintaining personnel records. This employee must possess excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills.
Qualified applicants should have three to five years of experience and knowledge regarding payroll processing, benefit management, recruitment and hiring, employment law and benefit management. In addition, applicants should possess above average oral and written communication skills. They must be a team player and possess flexibility with a passion to seek better ways of doing business. Post-secondary education with and emphasis in Human Resource is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License and be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen.
Deputy Sheriff - Full-Time Position
Lincoln County is accepting applications for a Full Time Deputy Sheriff. Primary responsibilities include patrolling local cities as well as the rural county, assisting with crime prevention, enforcing traffic laws and regulations, responding to emergency calls, investigating crimes and complaints, providing courtroom security, working in the jail, process services and issuing citation.
Qualifications: Applicants must be 21 years of age at time of appointment, possess a high school diploma or GED, be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid Kansas Driver’s License and be able to complete a pre- employment drug screen. KLETC certification is preferred. Must reside in Lincoln County within 60 days of employment.
Communications Officer-Full-Time Position
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Communications Officer. This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls,answering 911 calls, and monitoring and transmitting information via two-way radio.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor conviction, and have the ability to multitask and have good communications skills, previous experience a plus but not required. Applications will be accepted until position is filled
Road and Bridge
Truck Driver-Full-Time Position
Under the supervision of the Road and Bridge Supervisor, the Truck Driver is a non-exempt position under FLSA. This position performs semi-skilled work in the operation of trucks and department equipment. This employee should possess excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills. This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Qualifications: Applicants must be 18 years old and have a valid Class “A” CDL Driver’s License. Lincoln County offers competitive wages and an excellent benefit package. This individual will be responsible for hauling material, machinery, equipment and the refuse trailer for disposal outside Lincoln County.
