Benefit Information

 

Lincoln County strives to provide a competitive benefit package to its employees.

The following is a list of benefits for full-time and part-time employees.

 

Full-Time Employees
Wage increase after 6 months of employment
Wage increase after 1 year of employment
Longevity Pay – After 5 years of continued employment
Annual Boot Allowance - Law Enforcement, Emergency Management and EMS Employees 
Uniforms & Equipment Provided - Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, and EMS employees
Health/Dental/Prescription Coverage – 5 plans available through State of Kansas Insurance Program
Employees are eligible to receive a premium reduction of $40/month on the cost of their health insurance premium by participating in the State of Kansas Health Quest Program
Short Term Disability Insurance- Paid by Lincoln County
KPERS retirement program – Member from first day of employment
      6% contribution rate – for all employees
       Life insurance equal to 1 1/2 times annual salary from first day of employment
12 hours of Leave accrued monthly (144 hours annually) - must complete 6 months of employment prior to using 
4 hours of Extended Illness Leave accrued monthly (48 hours annually) - must complete 6 months of employment prior to using
Holidays - Ten holidays are recognized by the Lincoln County each year
Supplemental Insurance available – AFLAC, Family Heritage, Leaders Life, Legal Shield, Liberty National and Nation Wide
Hepatitis B Vaccination

 

 

Part-Time Employees

For part-time employees working 1000 hours or more per year:
KPERS retirement program
